Hospitality Ministry

Function:
We practice the ministry of hospitality by greeting all of our brothers & sisters at the front door for each service &/or function, welcoming visitors/guests, keeping the vestibule area clear from traffic [directing members/guests to the sanctuary, FLC, classrooms, nursery, etc.], keeping the restrooms clean and clear of children lingering, monitoring the front foyer area & FLC to make sure no food or drink enters or exits, preparing &/or serving food for special events or functions, and working with the ushers to make sure water or juice is provided for the visiting Minister during his/her ministering time.
 

Purpose:
We are the "Front Door". We are the first impression others see when they walk through those doors, and we leave a lasting impression for others when we work together in harmony. We want to reach all with a friendly and loving smile, a warm & compassionate touch, a sincere and heartfelt welcome and willing and able working hands. We want everyone to feel welcome from the youngest child to the oldest adult.

Location:   no recurring meeting times. Those scheduled are contacted in person, by phone or email.
 

Qualifications for Participation
Must have been an active Mt. Rose member for at least 3 months.
Members can participate after the completion of CORDS
