Youth L.I.V.E

Programs, Purposes and Prospects:

Each Youth L.I.V.E. activity must focus on at least one of the five purposes of youth ministry. Participants for every L.I.V.E. activity must be between 6th grade and undergraduate level.

Youth Explosion (Community/Church)

2nd Sunday, 5:00-6:30pm: Fun, Games, & Gospel. Basketball, volleyball, pool, foosball, ping pong, PlayStation 2, air hockey, concessions. These activities are used to draw young people to the Explosion. Ministry tools and methods include Performing Arts ministries, spoken messages and small group discussions aimed at giving kids Biblical and Spiritual advice and answers to real world problems, choices, and questions. Purpose focus: Fellowship, evangelism, ministry.

Wednesday Night Bible Study (Church)

Wednesday, 7:00-8:30pm: General assembly youth Bible study. Focuses on learning principles for holy living, evangelism methods, and praise and worship through general assembly lessons and small group study and discussion. Purpose focus: Worship, discipleship.

TNT (Teens iN Training) (Committed)

Wednesday, 7:00-8:30pm: Core Group of young people who want to go to a new level in their salvation and relationship with and service to God. Intense Bible study; specific evangelism strategy training; Sunday Night Live planning; activities and program planning. Purpose focus: Discipleship, ministry.

Sunday Night Live (Church)

4th Sunday, 6:30-8pm: Youth Performing Arts ministry night. Presents the youth with an opportunity to participate in service, while exploring, cultivating, and using their gifts, skills, and abilities to minister to other members of the church. Purpose focus: Ministry

Double Over-Time  (Community/Church)

Friday 8:30pm-11:30pm: Same activities as the Explosion, but on the Friday nights of Crosby's home football games. Tracks, Scripture slips, Private Proverbs, and Gospel messages. Concessions available for purchase. Purpose focus: Fellowship, evangelism, ministry.

Prospective Programs and Activities

Big Brother, Big Sister; Open mic nights (Christian talent night); lock-ins; movie nights; community/church sports tournaments, etc.
